Low Price Guarantee
We want our customers to receive the best service at the lowest price. That is why Lighting Buff will refund 110% of the difference between our price and any competitors legitimate competing price. To qualify the order must meet the following criteria:
- The product must be in stock and available for immediate shipment.
- The advertised price must be from an authorized U.S. retailer.
- The price must be published online and include shipping, handling, and tax.
- We must be able to verify with competing web retailer.
- The product is not a close out, discontinued or clearance item.
- Not available for all Minka Brands, (Minka Aire, Minka Lavery, George Kovacs, Metropolitan, Ambience)
Simply e-mail the complete URL (web address) of the competitor's website, along with your name, phone number, and the details of the price difference to us through our Contact Page or call us prior to placing your order. (Prices will not be matched after an order has been processed)
Unfortunately mandatory freight charges are not included in the price match guarantee. Due to their size and weight, some fixtures require freight shipping.

- We offer free ground shipping for specific manufacturers in the 48 continental United States on any order over $75. All orders under $75 will be charged at $8 flat rate shipping fee. Any change in an order that brings the balance below $75 will result in the $8 shipping fee.
- Charges for expedited shipping are based on the total weight and dimensions of your order. We are unable to offer expedited shipping on some manufacturers. Expedited orders must be placed over the phone with a sales associate, and you must provide a UPS or FedEx account number.
- Large orders may be shipped using freight depending on weight and size. You will be advised of the cost before shipping. All prices are quoted in US dollars.
- Orders ship on business days only (this excludes weekends and holidays).
- Lighting Buff will not cover shipping fees that result from additional services provided at the time of delivery. This includes indoor delivery of products shipped via freight companies and/or the rerouting of packages to addresses different than the "ship to" address provided on the initial order.
- Signature service is not offered unless requested at point of placement, unless this service is requested Lighting Buff will not be liable for any items lost in shipment.
- In the event that an item is lost and/or damaged during shipment a claim will need to be filed with the carrier and the outcome of this claim received prior to the issuance of credit and/or replacements. Credit and/or replacement cannot be issued unless the claim is settled successfully.
- Shipping available in the United States of America only. We do not ship internationally.
While we check all products for stock availability, items may still become backordered after the order has been placed. We will notify our customers if an item has been backordered and has a lead time exceeding 30 days. Backordered items will not be subject to cancellation fees.
We charge sales tax on all orders shipped to New York residencies. Qualified resellers that are tax exempt should call 866-961-3357 with their number.
All customers outside the state of New York are accepting responsibility to pay their own sales tax or use tax to their state, city or local municipality on any purchase.
Please check the accuracy of your order in your order confirmation email. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the order placed online or over the phone is accurate. Lighting Buff will not assume any cost to exchange items purchased in error. If a replacement item is necessary, Lighting Buff will create a new order and refund the returned item less return fees, as defined below in the Return Policy section.
Orders can be cancelled with or without an available order number by calling us before 5pm on the day the order is placed. On the weekends, you may submit an e-mail request leaving the order number field blank in the event that the order is not available. Please visit the Contact Us portion of our website and fill out the appropriate form for order cancellations
You must call our sales team within 24 hours of placing your order to make changes, or if you are canceling an item off your order. The cancellation will be subject to the cancellation fees as described above. If your changes result in a total order under $75, an $8 flat shipping rate will apply. All changes are dependant upon the manufacturer's ability to hold the processing of your order.
Before accepting a delivery, you are required to inspect each and every box for damage or missing items. By accepting delivery of a shipment, you acknowledge that the item(s) were received in 100% usable condition and that you have received every item listed on the packing slip. If you are not required to sign for a shipment and you received damaged goods, please contact Customer Service immediately to report the damage.
Once an order is delivered and accepted, the return options for that order become limited. Any damaged or missing items not noted at the time of delivery must be reported within 3 business days of receiving the shipment.
Lighting Buff will not cover shipping fees that result from additional services provided at the time of delivery. This includes indoor delivery of products shipped via freight companies and/or rerouting of packages to addresses different than the "ship to" address provided on the initial order.
If you discover damaged products upon opening a shipment and decide not to accept delivery, please Contact Customer Service immediately to take appropriate action to resolve the matter. (You will receive an email response in 24-48 hours.) Report of damage must be received within 20 days of receipt. A claim will be filed with the carrier to credit your account for the damaged fixture, which we will replace at no cost. If the damaged product is repairable with replacement parts, these parts will be shipped at no cost. Lighting Buff will not be responsible for expedited shipping of any replacement parts or products.
If you would like to return the damaged product with no replacement, we will have ups pick it up and a full credit will be issued once we receive it back.

Defective products (such as those with dents, scratches, or faulty wiring) that are noticed prior to installation must be reported within 20 days of receiving the product. Please contact Customer Service. (You will receive an email response in 24 to 48 hours.) Defective products usually need to be returned prior to receiving a replacement product. If we choose to scrap the damaged item, we will not be responsible for any disposal costs. Defective items will be replaced or repaired at our discretion. Returns for these products are subject to our standard return policy (see Return Policy section).

Items received with broken glass are not considered defective products. You must report broken glass within 5 days of receiving the product. Please contact Customer Service to request replacement glass be sent to you at no additional cost. (You will receive an email response in 24-48 hours.) Lighting Buff will not be responsible for expedited shipping of any replacement glass. Returns associated with broken glass will be subject to the standard return fees as described in the Return Policy section.
We offer refunds on unused merchandise with NO restocking fee on orders over $75. For all orders under $75 there is a 25% restocking fee
The following items may be returned:
- Products that are new, unused, unaltered (with no clipped wires) and contain all original product packaging and accessories.
- Products that are repackaged properly, in the original packaging, and are received in saleable condition.
- Products that were ordered within 30 days.
- Returns on orders under $75.00 will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
We ask that you please send any returned items via UPS or FedEx. Thank you.
If the product is refused upon delivery, the customer will become responsible for the freight charges both to and from the manufacturer, as well as the manufacturer's restocking fee, which, in some cases, may total to greater than 50% of the purchase price.
Most manufacturers do not reduce return fees for product exchanges. Please contact Customer Service to inquire about exchange options. (You will receive an email response in 24-48 hours.)
To return an item, please send an email to Customer Service for a return authorization number by clicking here.
After Return Authorization is requested, we will:
1. Inform you of return fees for specific manufacturers. These fees will be deducted from your credit.
2. Issue an RGA# (return goods authorization number) and provide an address for you to ship the products.
3. Issue credit within 30 days of the manufacturer receiving and inspecting the product.
(NOTE: Credits will not be issued for products damaged during shipment, and you will be responsible for filing a claim with the shipper. Therefore it is recommended to insure all return shipments.)
Please note, we will refund or pay shipping costs only if the return is a result of a Lighting Buff or manufacturer error. The crediting process will begin once the product has been received and inspected. The pictures of the items on the Lighting Buff website are provided by the manufacturers of the products. These pictures are the same as or similar to manufacturers printed or online catalog. These pictures are professionally photographed; however, products may look different once installed. Due to finish application along with variations in computer resolution and color, product finish and glass may vary from online images. Lighting Buff is not responsible for the variation in product.
The descriptions of the items on the Lighting Buff website are provided by the manufacturers of the products. These descriptions and specifications are the same as or similar to the manufacturers printed or online catalogs. In order to fulfill licensing transactions or provide service to you as a customer of Lighting Buff, we may require you to provide certain information to us. Common items may include, but are not restricted to, your name, address, phone number and credit card number. By providing Lighting Buff with this information, you are agreeing to allow us to utilize this information to complete all transactions you request through this website and to disclose that information and details of all such transactions to Lighting Buff's various worldwide offices, subsidiaries, affiliates and any necessary payment processors. If at any time you believe that Lighting Buff has not followed the above policy, or if you would like your information to be removed from our system, please contact us using our contact form. Anti-Fraud Address Verification Policy & Procedure
Your order will require more processing time (5-7 days) and must go through our Anti-Fraud Address Verification System if you are shipping to an address other than you billing address or if the billing address response from your credit card comes back as a "No Match" for what the bank has on file for you.

SHIPPING TO AN ADDRESS OTHER THAN YOUR BILLING?
Make sure your Credit Card Issuer has your alternate "Ship To" address on file!
We strongly recommend you call your credit cards issuing bank first to make sure you could add a secondary ship to address to your account or make special notes on your account of an approved alternate ship to address.
You can now place the online order. Next, after placing the order, email us IMMEDIATELY at info@lightingbuff.com informing us that you have added the proper information. We then will contact your credit card issuer with the number you provided to us, to verify your information and continue processing the order. Make sure to include your Order Number in the email.
Lighting Buff does not itself warranty the products offered for sale on this website; however all lighting products are sold with the following manufacturer warranty: warrants to the first non-dealer purchaser of any of its products that they are to be free from defects in material and workmanship. If a product does have a defect, our obligation is expressly limited to replacement, without charge, or repair at the factory after prior written return authorization has been granted. Our company's obligation under this warranty does not extend beyond the initial cost of the product and accordingly any consequential damages or labor costs arising out of a defect are expressly excluded. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been altered or improperly used. Notice of a defect must be received by us within one (1) years from the date of purchase. Excluded from the one (1) year warranty are all light bulbs, which are warranted to perform satisfactorily to the industry standard burning hours rating, but in no case to exceed one (1) year. Also excluded from the one (1) year warranty are the HID ballasts, which are covered by separate manufacturers' warranties. We will not accept any responsibility or liability on the ballasts whatsoever. Contact Us for information on the manufacturers' warranties.
